I was at a bit of loss about what to do tonight, watercolour, drawing, fiberwork - I picked up this and that and fussed about for an hour; and then I remembered this piece. "All it needs is the rose and then it'll be finished", I thought.

So I put my other things away and took it out - but realized as I was stitching the rose petals down that it needed more work.

It's funny that sometimes when you put something away for awhile, when you come back to it, you see it with new eyes.

In this case, these eyes see it needs quite a bit more work. So, I'll be working on this project for the next little while.
